Website redesign that keeps your rankings and wins more enquiries
A new design, faster pages and clearer journeys for the site you already have, rebuilt without losing the Google rankings it has earned.
What is a website redesign?
A website redesign rebuilds an existing site's design, structure and code while keeping what already works: its content, its Google rankings and its links. A good redesign starts from the data (which pages bring enquiries, which ones people leave), maps every old URL to a new one, and launches without a dip in search traffic.
Most redesigns fail in one of two ways: they look better but convert worse, or they launch and quietly lose half their Google traffic because nobody mapped the old URLs. We start with what your current site does well, using your analytics, Search Console and enquiries, then redesign around it, migrate the content and redirects properly, and check rankings for weeks after launch.
Businesses whose website is three or more years old, looks dated next to competitors, is slow on phones, is hard to update, or brings traffic but too few enquiries.
What Website Redesign covers.
An audit before any design
Analytics, Search Console, heatmaps where you have them, and a page-by-page look at what earns enquiries and what doesn't. You get it in writing before we start.
Redesign around real journeys
New layouts and visual design built around how your customers actually choose you, with clear calls to action, prices where you're happy to show them, and trust signals where people look for them.
SEO-safe migration
Every old URL mapped to its new home with 301 redirects, titles, meta descriptions and schema carried over, and internal links updated, so rankings move with you.
Faster on every phone
Rebuilt for Core Web Vitals: modern image formats, lean code and good hosting, because speed affects both rankings and how many visitors stay.
Easier to update
A CMS your team can actually use, whether WordPress, Shopify or a custom build, with training and notes so edits don't need a developer.
Watched after launch
Rankings, traffic, broken links and forms monitored for the weeks after go-live, and fixed fast if anything slips.
Refresh, redesign or rebuild?

| Keeps your content and URLs | Yes | Mostly, with redirects where they change | Content moved, URLs mapped |
| SEO risk | Low | Managed with a redirect map | Highest without a migration plan |
| Fixes speed and mobile | Rarely | Yes | Yes |
| Typical timescale | 1–3 weeks | 4–10 weeks | 2–4 months |

How much does a website redesign cost in the UK?
A redesign of a small business site usually costs a few thousand pounds; larger sites with many pages, integrations or a platform change run into five figures. Ours start at £2,400 as a fixed price, quoted after a free audit of your current site.
Will a redesign hurt our Google rankings?
Not if it's planned properly. We map every old URL to a new one with 301 redirects, carry over titles, descriptions and structured data, and watch rankings after launch. Lost traffic after a redesign is almost always missing redirects or removed content, both of which we plan for.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most small and medium business redesigns take four to ten weeks from audit to launch, depending on the number of pages, how much copy changes and how quickly feedback comes back.
Can you keep our existing content?
Yes. We keep and improve what works, rewrite what doesn't, and only remove pages after checking they don't bring traffic, links or enquiries.
Do we have to change platform?
No. We can redesign on WordPress, Shopify or your current custom platform. If your platform is holding you back, we'll explain the trade-offs in the audit and quote both options.
How do we know if we need a redesign?
Common signs: the site is slow on phones, looks dated next to competitors, is hard to update, or gets traffic but few enquiries. Our free audit tells you which of these apply and whether a refresh would be enough.
What happens after launch?
We monitor rankings, traffic, forms and broken links for the following weeks and fix anything that slips. Many clients then move to a care plan or website management for ongoing upkeep.
